A Catholic priest responds to queries on faith, the Bible, religion, Catholic practice, etc. posed by readers. What he doesn't know, he makes up.
Well deserved.

ReplyDeleteMiss you
ReplyDeleteDon't you think your retreat has been long enough? I don't know about other readers, but I for one am missing your blog posts and hope you have had enough of listening to the loons.

ReplyDeleteFr. Simon, I pray that you are well and are just being obedient if you have been to told to tone it down, though I want you and everyone else to know that your candor in truth and your clarity have been a beautiful drink from the well.
ReplyDeleteFather Simon a person I said to me yesterday that in order for a Jewish man to have a beard that he had to be married so therefore he thinks that Jesus Christ was married and also he thinks that the Blessed Virgin Mary was married because I can't remember what the old that she wasn't a virgin because it's impossible well I didn't think to tell him that all things are possible with God and doesn't believe the gospel according to Saint Luke from Luke got his information from the Blessed Virgin Mary but these things are quizzical not to me but to him and I would like you to ask your friend the rabbi let's go which if that is true if in order for Jewish man to have a beard that he had to be married he said this and he said that he read it in the Torah
ReplyDeleteMe thinks there is more here than meets the eye.
